Simple single/or one family ancestor searches are $35 per hour. Simple searches are generally for birth, death or marriage information, a cemetery listing or immigration information. No extra charges apply if scanned images of documents are sent by e-mail. Translation is included.  And if I need to order copies of  a certificate of any kind, I'll let you know beforehand to get your permission. Photo copies, postage and other applicable costs are billed to client. The fee for a copy of a birth certificate, marriage license or death certificate differs from state to state. It can be anything between 15-30 dollars. 

Research in all available Swedish or Scandinavian Census Collections or in the US State or Federal State Census Collections.

Research in all available emigration records/databases and available passenger lists.

Translation and a copy of what I find on the person/household/family is of course included.

This search for one ancestor  encompasses electronic databases, census records and other indexed resource materials. Photo copies, scanned images or transcriptions of records found are provided to the client, along with a research report. The fee covers the time I spend on the research, photo copies & postage. No extra charges apply if scanned images of documents are sent by e-mail. Observe that turn-around time can be three to four weeks, sometimes more, sometimes less, it all depends on if your ancestor is an 'easy' one.

In addition to the resources noted above, this single-ancestor research option includes (where available) family histories, county and town histories, church and cemetery records, land, court and newspaper abstracts, and surname registries. In other words, all I can possibly find. Photo copies, scanned images, or transcriptions of records found are provided, along with a full research report. The fee covers my research, photo copies & postage. No extra charges apply if scanned images of documents are sent by e-mail. Turn-around time is usually three to four weeks.
